? LISTEN: This is sound of Hezbollah terrorists digging terror tunnels into Israel

“LISTEN: This is sound of terrorists digging underground attack tunnels from Lebanon into Israel. This is also the sound that helped us catch them before any Israeli civilians were killed, as Hezbollah intended”, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit twitted.

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Gadi Eisenkot met Sunday with Head of Mission and Force Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon(UNIFIL), Major General Stefano Del Col, due to the advance of Operation Northern Shield.

During their meeting, the Chief of the General Staff emphasized that Hezbollah’s attack tunnels are blatant violations of UN Security Council Resolution 1701 and were intended to be the surprise element of Hezbollah’s plan of attack against Israel.

The Chief of the General Staff further emphasized that the responsibility for the construction of these terror tunnels by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon lies with the Lebanese government.

The IDF launched Tuesday morning “Operation Northern Shield” to expose and neutralize cross-border terror tunnels dug by Lebanon’s Hezbollah terror group.

IDF forces discovered a second Hezbollah’s cross-border terror tunnel dug by Muslim terrorists from southern Lebanon, in order to infiltrate into Israel and slaughter Jews in their homes.

Hezbollah terrorists were active in the tunnel up until this week.

IDF engineers fitted the tunnel with explosives and warned against attempting to approach it.
