FRANCE: Vandals painted a ‘Juden’ (Jew) graffiti on a Jewish-owned bagel shop in Paris, as the Nazis used to mark Jewish-owned stores in Nazi Germany.
“Bagel Stein” store was vandalized on Saturday, during ‘Yellow Vests’ protests.
AUSTRALIA: Bondi Beach defaced with swastikas Sunday morning. The murals at the beach walk along Australia’s most iconic beach now bear numerous swastikas.
Bondi and Bondi Beach are home to an Orthodox Jewish community, synagogues and Sydney Yeshiva.
UK: Bricks were thrown at windows of Jewish homes in the Lea Bridge area of London.
A family was brutally attacked and called “germs on society” while leaving a synagogue Saturday morning in Stamford Hill.
The Jewish cemetery in Whitefield, Manchester was vandalized on Saturday, and graves were smashed.
The number of anti-Semitic hate crimes in the UK rose by 16% in 2018, according to figures from Jewish charity the Community Security Trust.
CST said it recorded 1,652 anti-Semitic incidents last year, the highest total since it began collecting data in 1984.
